Exciting new playground for Tapanui School!

What an amazing project for PlayGear by Otago Engineering to be involved in! 

We absolutely loved working alongside Tapanui School to bring this incredible playground project to life. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase just how much can be achieved when you combine refurbishment, custom design and brand-new playground equipment into one exciting play space.

As part of the project, we gave the school’s existing large playground a complete refurbishment, breathing new life into the equipment and giving it a fresh, revitalised look. But we didn’t stop there!

We also designed, fabricated and installed a brand-new custom fort, packed with features to encourage climbing, movement, exploration and imaginative play. From climbing walls and ladders to a jungle walk, rock wall, net climbs and a large corkscrew tunnel, this fort has something for every adventurous little explorer.

Every element has been carefully designed to create opportunities for children to challenge themselves, build confidence, develop physical skills and, most importantly, have fun!

And to complete the transformation, we also installed a brand-new Fusion Swing — adding even more movement, excitement and adventure to this already impressive playground. We’re sure it will bring plenty of laughter and endless enjoyment for children for years to come!
