Playground Refurbishment!

A fantastic transformation for this existing school playground!

This playground already had all the key ingredients for a great play space — it simply needed a fresh new look and a little TLC. Rather than replacing everything, Otago Engineering gave the existing equipment a complete refurbishment, bringing it back to life and extending its lifespan.

We removed all the existing steel components and had them professionally re-powdercoated, giving them a fresh, durable finish that looks as good as new. The existing timber was also thoroughly cleaned and stained, restoring its natural appearance and giving the entire playground a clean, refreshed and well-maintained finish. Once complete, everything was carefully reinstalled back into its original position, creating a playground that feels almost brand new without the need for a full replacement.

There was also the perfect open space for something new, exciting and guaranteed to get plenty of use — the Revolving Tree!

A fun and engaging addition that brings movement and excitement to the playground, the Revolving Tree has quickly become a favourite with kids. It was the perfect way to add a fresh element of play while making the most of the existing playground space.
